
IQM Quantum Computers appoints new technology executives ahead of merger

- IQM Quantum Computers appointed Dr. Craig Ciesla as Chief Technology Officer and Dr. Inés de Vega as Chief Scientist.

- The company stated these internal appointments are intended to advance its technology roadmap and support the scaling of its production-grade quantum systems.
IQM Quantum Computers will merge with Real Asset Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:RAAQ) while appointing Dr. Craig Ciesla as CTO.
This executive transition occurs as the hardware manufacturer reports successfully selling 23 quantum systems to date.
"What attracted me to the company is its commitment to building production-grade quantum systems," said IQM CTO Craig Ciesla.
The company stated that Ciesla brings previous engineering experience from 10x Genomics and holds over 100 patents.
Dr. Inés de Vega will simultaneously transition from her previous executive role to become the dedicated Chief Scientist.
The manufacturer stated it plans to use this newly structured leadership team to build scalable computing systems.
