The technology licensing firm recorded GAAP operating expenses of $80.4 million, which decreased from $84.8 million in the prior-year period.

Following the announcement, Immersion Corporation's share price was down at $7.36.

The business also reported non-GAAP net income of $16.6 million, or $0.50 per diluted share, representing a slight decline from $16.9 million a year ago.
