White has served as chief scientific officer at IDEAYA since 2021, and the promotion expands his leadership responsibilities across the company’s research and development activities.

Before joining IDEAYA, White held research leadership positions at Pfizer, including chief scientific officer and head of tumor biology, and previously served as a professor of cell biology at UT Southwestern.

IDEAYA Biosciences develops targeted cancer therapies, including small molecules and antibody-drug conjugates designed for patients with specific molecular characteristics.

The company said White’s expanded role will support its research and development programs as it advances oncology-focused drug candidates.
