HUTCHMED presents lung cancer trial data

• HUTCHMED (NASDAQ:HCM) will present Phase III results from two savolitinib–osimertinib lung cancer studies at ESMO Congress 2026.
• The SAFFRON and SANOVO trials reported improvements in progression-free survival and other key measures.
• The studies will be presented in oral sessions at the Madrid ESMO Congress from October 23–27, 2026.

HUTCHMED (NASDAQ:HCM) will present results from two Phase III studies evaluating savolitinib combined with osimertinib in lung cancer patients at ESMO Congress 2026.

The studies, SAFFRON and SANOVO, evaluated the combination treatment in patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer and MET-related disease characteristics.

SAFFRON evaluated patients who progressed after osimertinib treatment and showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in progression-free survival and overall survival compared with platinum-based chemotherapy, according to HUTCHMED.

SANOVO evaluated previously untreated patients in China with advanced NSCLC, activating EGFR mutations, and MET overexpression, with results showing improved progression-free survival and a clinically meaningful overall survival benefit compared with osimertinib alone.

HUTCHMED will present SAFFRON during a Presidential Symposium oral session on October 25 and SANOVO during a Proffered Paper oral session on October 26 at the Madrid congress.
