Bloomberg energy and commodities reporter Stephen Stapczynski says renewed Houthi attacks in the Red Sea are threatening a key alternative route for Persian Gulf oil exports, raising concerns about shipping, refining and fuel supplies even as some tankers continue transiting the region. He says depleted global inventories of crude oil, diesel, jet fuel and natural gas leave energy markets with less of a buffer against further disruptions, while attacks linked to the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine continue to tighten global fuel supplies.
