Himax Technologies (NASDAQ:HIMX) reported Q2 2026 revenue of $227.4 million, up 14.2% sequentially on higher automotive IC sales.
Revenue exceeded Himax’s guided 10%–13% increase, while gross margin reached 33.1% against guidance of approximately 32%.
Profit reached 11.4 cents per diluted ADS, exceeding the company’s guidance range of 8.6–10.3 cents.
Small and medium display-driver revenue rose 19.6% to $162.3 million, while large display-driver revenue fell 21% to $19.2 million.
Himax expects Q3 revenue to rise 7%–11%.
Operating income was $24.6 million, after-tax profit was $19.9 million and financial assets totalled $298.7 million.
Himax expects a $23–$24 million pre-tax gain from its proposed investment disposal, which the company anticipates closing during Q4.
