HCA forecasts $20.23 billion second-quarter

HCA Healthcare (NYSE:HCA) expects preliminary second-quarter revenue of $20.230 billion, an 8.7% increase from $18.605 billion in the same period of 2025.

Net income is expected to rise 2.8% to $1.699 billion, while diluted earnings increase 11.6% to $7.62 and adjusted EBITDA reaches $4.027 billion.

Same-facility admissions increased 2.5%, equivalent admissions rose 2.7% and emergency visits gained 3.6%, while inpatient and outpatient surgeries declined 2.3% and 3.4%, respectively.

HCA said it adjusted its full-year guidance to reflect first-half conditions.

HCA previously reported first-quarter revenue of $19.109 billion, net income of $1.620 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $3.802 billion.

The company recorded approximately 47 million patient encounters during 2025 across a network of about 190 hospitals and 2,500 outpatient facilities.
