HCA Healthcare revenue rises 8.7% to $20.23 billion

HCA Healthcare (NYSE:HCA) reported second-quarter revenue of $20.230 billion, up 8.7%, as same-facility admissions increased 2.5%.

Net income rose 2.8% to $1.699 billion, while diluted EPS increased 11.6% to $7.62 from $6.83.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 4.6% to $4.027 billion, operating cash flow fell to $2.335 billion, and 2026 EPS guidance remained $28.70–$30.50.

Following the announcement, HCA Healthcare's share price was up 1.3% at $376.50.

HCA operates 189 hospitals and approximately 2,600 ambulatory care sites across 19 U.S. states and the United Kingdom.

The company recently agreed to acquire the College of Health Care Professions as part of its healthcare workforce development strategy.
