Grainger (NYSE:GWW) reported second-quarter net sales of $5.021 billion, up 10.3%, while diluted EPS increased 20.5% to $12.01.
Sales exceeded analysts’ $4.96 billion estimate, while EPS topped the $11.30 consensus forecast.
Operating earnings rose 19% to $807 million, while Grainger raised 2026 diluted EPS guidance to $45.50–$47.25.
Following the announcement, Grainger's share price was down 4.8% at $1,304.50 in premarket trading.
High-Touch Solutions sales rose 11.9%, while Endless Assortment revenue increased 13.5% following growth at MonotaRO and Zoro.
Gross margin increased 100 basis points to 39.5%, while Grainger generated $333 million in free cash flow and returned $341 million to shareholders.
