Getty Images (NYSE:GETY) signed a multi-year display partnership to bring its licensed content libraries directly into OpenAI's ChatGPT.

This digital integration marks a shift from traditional media licensing models toward direct artificial intelligence search platforms.

"High-quality, licensed visual content makes AI-powered search and discovery more useful and more trustworthy," said Getty Images Chief Executive Officer Craig Peters.

The company stated that its extensive archives cover more than 160,000 news, sports, and entertainment events annually.

Following the announcement, Getty Images' share price was unchanged at $0.61.

The marketplace manages millions of historical photographs and currently collaborates with almost 600,000 global content creators.

This integration follows similar multi-year visual distribution agreements executed by the platform with other digital media providers.
