Gentex (NASDAQ:GNTX) reported second-quarter sales of $651.3 million, down 1%, as automotive revenue weakened.

Net income rose 19% to $114.7 million, while diluted EPS increased 26% to $0.54.

Gross margin rose 280 basis points to 37%, helped by $18 million of tariff reimbursements and favourable product mix.

Gentex maintained 2026 revenue guidance at $2.65–$2.75 billion.

Elsewhere, automotive revenue fell to $560.1 million, while premium audio and other products represented about 14% of quarterly sales.

Gentex also repurchased 5.9 million shares for $137.6 million year-to-date while expanding HomeLink products and integrating VOXX technologies.
