General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $14.1 billion, an 8.1% increase compared to the prior year.

The company posted operating earnings of $1.46 billion alongside a diluted earnings per share of $4.24.

Operating margin expanded by 40 basis points to reach 10.4% during the quarter.

Net cash from operating activities totaled $1.9 billion, representing 162% of net earnings, which supported a $498 million debt reduction.

Following the announcement, General Dynamics' share price was up at $394.92.

The Aerospace and Marine Systems segments both delivered double-digit revenue growth and margin expansion.

General Dynamics stated its new orders totaled $20 billion, lifting its backlog to $136.5 billion and its total estimated contract value to $186.9 billion.
