
Genasys secures $3M mobile mass notification order for U.S. Army
- Genasys (NASDAQ:GNSS) announced a $3 million follow-on contract with the U.S. Army for mobile mass notification systems.

Genasys (NASDAQ:GNSS), a global leader in Protective Communications®, today announced a $3 million follow-on order from the U.S. Army for the company's mobile mass notification systems.
The Acoustics 360XT mobile units will be deployed to Forward Operating Sites overseas, serving as critical infrastructure for area-wide alerts, warnings, and mass notifications to protect military personnel.
This marks the fourth contract the company has received for the Army’s Integrated Base Defense kits, underscoring a consistent, long-term partnership.
"The Acoustics 360XT mobile systems will be deployed overseas to Forward Operating Sites to provide area-wide mass notification, alerts, and warnings to help protect Soldiers within the sites," said Richard Danforth, CEO of Genasys Inc. "This ongoing partnership is a testament to the proven performance of our systems in the field."
Following the announcement, Genasys' share price was down at $1.85.
The 360XT system is a fully self-contained, ruggedized solution mounted on a military-grade trailer.
It features a telescoping 30-foot mast, dual emitters for 360-degree audio coverage, and a battery bank capable of 24 hours of continuous operation.
The system is noted for having one of the highest Speech Intelligibility Index ratings in the mass notification industry, ensuring that emergency broadcasts remain clear and actionable even in challenging environments.
