GE Aerospace (NYSE:GE) agreed to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) for $11.75 billion, expanding its aerospace casting capabilities for commercial aviation, defense, and power markets.

The transaction values CPP at $11.75 billion and will be funded with $7 billion in cash, with the remaining amount financed through new debt.

CPP produces investment and precision sand castings and employs about 6,600 workers across more than 20 facilities, with the deal valued at approximately 18 times projected 2027 EBITDA including expected net synergies.

GE Aerospace said the acquisition is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share and free cash flow in the first year after closing, while maintaining existing capital allocation plans.

GE Aerospace develops aircraft engines, aerospace systems, and related technologies, while CPP supplies precision manufacturing components used in aerospace and industrial applications.
