
Garmin launches LiveScope 2 sonar series

Garmin (NYSE:GRMN) introduced its LiveScope 2 Series, a next-generation live-scanning sonar system designed for anglers with updated transducer technology and improved imaging performance.
The new LVS44, LVS42HD, and ice-fishing transducers provide up to 20% more resolution, 25% more range reaching 250 feet, and 50% more near-range detail compared with the previous generation.
The LiveScope 2 transducers connect directly to compatible Garmin multifunction displays, removing the need for a separate black box.
The systems include integrated image stabilization, automatic out-of-water shutoff, water temperature sensing, and multiple mounting options.
LiveScope 2 products are available immediately at suggested retail prices between $1,999.99 and $2,199.99.
The launch expands Garmin’s marine electronics product range focused on sonar and fishing applications.
