Gaotu Techedu revenue rises to RMB1.67 billion

Gaotu Techedu (NYSE:GOTU) reported second quarter 2026 net revenues of RMB1,670.1 million, up 20.2% year over year, as gross billings reached RMB2,689.1 million and gross margin improved to 66.5%.

The results compared with the prior-year period when Gaotu reported lower revenue, while the company’s latest quarter showed continued growth in net revenues and gross billings.

The company reported that loss from operations narrowed to RMB149.8 million from RMB241.9 million, while net loss decreased to RMB135.8 million from RMB216 million and net operating cash inflow increased 46.3% to RMB861.2 million.

For the first half of 2026, Gaotu Techedu reported revenue of RMB3,359.5 million, up 16.6% year over year, while net loss for the period reached RMB101.3 million.

Gaotu Techedu reported cash and investments totaling RMB3,992.9 million as of June 30, 2026, and stated that it had cumulatively repurchased about 36.5 million ADSs for approximately US$103.5 million.
