FuelCell Energy (NASDAQ:FCEL) reported fiscal third-quarter 2026 revenue of $33 million for the period ended July 31, 2026, while committed backlog increased to $1.3 billion.

Revenue declined approximately 29% from $46.7 million in the prior-year period, while net loss narrowed to $45.3 million, or $0.64 per share, compared with a loss of $3.78 per share a year earlier.

FuelCell Energy reported gross loss of $24.5 million compared with $5.1 million a year earlier, operating loss of $46.7 million compared with $95.4 million due to the absence of prior-year impairment and restructuring expenses, and cash and restricted cash of $737.3 million.

The company reported Awarded Capacity Backlog of $2.35 billion, including a capital equipment purchase agreement with Fit Energy covering up to 380 MW.

FuelCell Energy develops fuel cell technology and power generation systems for commercial, industrial, and utility customers, including applications related to clean energy and distributed power.

The company also signed its first 75 MW capacity reservation agreement with a major data center operator in Texas and is expanding its Torrington, Connecticut manufacturing facility toward 500 MW of annualized capacity by June 2028.
