- Ford (NYSE:F) reported a 10.3% drop in U.S. second-quarter sales.
- Total sales fell to 549,200 units, down from 612,095 units a year earlier.
- Lower F-150 pickup inventory was a key factor behind the decline.
Ford (NYSE:F) reported a 10.3% decline in U.S. vehicle sales in the second quarter as tighter F-150 pickup inventory weighed on performance.
The company sold 549,200 units during the quarter, compared with 612,095 units in the same period last year.
The drop reflects reduced availability of the F-150, one of Ford’s highest-volume models.
Ford remains heavily reliant on its pickup truck segment, particularly the F-Series, which continues to drive a large share of revenue.
The company’s quarterly results highlight ongoing supply and production balancing challenges in its core truck lineup.
