Ferguson completes FloWorks acquisition

Ferguson (NYSE:FERG) completed its acquisition of FWI Holdings, known as FloWorks, from Wynnchurch Capital, expanding its industrial distribution and service capabilities.

The transaction officially closed on August 31, 2026, after meeting customary closing conditions and adds FloWorks’ technical expertise in valves, automation, rotating equipment, and fluid handling.

Ferguson said the acquisition combines its distribution network with FloWorks’ specialized industrial capabilities, while FloWorks CEO Scott Jackson said the transaction creates opportunities to use Ferguson’s scale and supply chain resources.

The companies did not disclose financial terms of the acquisition.

Ferguson distributes water, air, and construction-related products across residential and non-residential markets in North America.

FloWorks provides technical industrial distribution services focused on valves, flow control solutions, automation, and fluid handling equipment for industrial customers.
