FEMSA revenue rises 9.3% in second quarter

Fomento Económico Mexicano, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE:FMX) reported a 9.3% increase in consolidated revenue and a 7.2% rise in income from operations for the second quarter of 2026 compared with the prior-year period.

On a comparable basis, consolidated revenue increased 10.1%, while income from operations rose 11.7% from the second quarter of 2025.

FEMSA said OXXO Mexico remained a major contributor to its quarterly performance, supported by higher same-store sales and continued customer engagement across its digital platforms.

OXXO Mexico revenue increased 11.8%, income from operations rose 12.3% and same-store sales grew 9.5%, while Spin by OXXO reached 11.5 million active users and Spin Premia recorded 29.1 million active loyalty users.

Coca-Cola FEMSA revenue increased 4.7% and operating income rose 9.1%, while Americas & Mobility revenue grew 17.4% despite an 88% decline in reported operating income.

FEMSA operates businesses across convenience retail, digital financial services, beverages, healthcare, logistics and mobility, with major operations in Latin America and Europe.

The company introduced a new reporting structure to improve segment visibility as it addresses weaker results in Europe and Health while continuing to expand OXXO, Coca-Cola FEMSA and its digital ecosystem.
