Eve Air Mobility (NYSE:EVEX) announced today the successful completion of the first uncrewed flight of its full-scale electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) prototype at Embraer’s Gavião Peixoto test facility.

The flight marks a significant milestone in validating the aircraft’s architecture, fifth-generation fly-by-wire controls, and fixed-pitch lifter rotors.

The flight data captured during the test was high-fidelity and will inform the development of six conforming prototypes that will be used for a comprehensive flight test campaign aimed at obtaining type certification.

Eve Air Mobility plans a progressive envelope expansion with hundreds of flights scheduled for 2026.

The company continues its engagement with regulatory bodies, including ANAC, FAA, and EASA, targeting type certification and the first commercial deliveries of the eVTOL aircraft in 2027.
