Embraer (NYSE:ERJ) delivered a record-breaking performance for the first quarter of 2026, signaling a significant acceleration in global aerospace demand.

The São Paulo-based manufacturer reported consolidated revenues of $1,447 million, marking a 31% increase year-over-year and the highest first-quarter top line in the company’s history.

The growth was supported by a 47% surge in aircraft deliveries, with 44 units handed over to customers during the period.

The company's commercial and executive aviation segments drove the bulk of the momentum, pushing the firm order backlog to an all-time high of $32.1 billion—a more than 20% increase compared to the same period last year.

Adjusted EBIT for the quarter reached $94 million, representing a 6.5% margin.

While the company reported an adjusted free cash flow (excluding Eve) of negative $447.1 million, management noted this was a strategic outflow to support the ramp-up of production and inventory for a heavily weighted delivery schedule in the coming quarters.

A key focus of the report was Embraer's resilience in the face of shifting trade policies.

The company disclosed that U.S. import tariffs totaled $13 million during the first quarter.

Despite this added cost, Embraer reaffirmed its full-year 2026 financial guidance, which already assumes a 10% U.S. import tariff across its projections.

Management continues to target full-year revenue between $8.2 billion and $8.5 billion, with an adjusted EBIT margin expected to land between 8.7% and 9.3%.
