Elbit Systems (NASDAQ:ESLT; TASE:ESLT) secured an approximately $170 million contract from Israel's Ministry of Defense to establish and operate a training and simulation center for the Israel Defense Forces Artillery Corps.

The 15-year agreement will support the integration of the ROEM (SIGMA) self-propelled artillery system and LAHAV (PULS) precision rocket launcher system into the military's artillery operations.

"We are proud to support the IDF Artillery Corps with advanced training and simulation solutions for the ROEM and LAHAV systems," said Boaz Cohen, General Manager of Elbit Systems Land & Armaments.

Under the agreement, Elbit will develop mission and driving simulators, training classrooms and dedicated facilities, while providing training, maintenance and support services throughout the contract period.

The company said the center will incorporate simulation technologies, automation and AI-based functions to improve personnel readiness, shorten training timelines and reduce resource consumption and wear on operational equipment.

The contract adds to Elbit's defense technology activities, which cover the development, manufacturing, integration and maintenance of military systems across multiple operational domains.

Elbit reported revenue of $2.29 billion for the second quarter of 2026 and an order backlog of $32 billion as of June 30, 2026, while employing more than 21,000 people across five continents.
