Einride (NASDAQ:ENRD) plans to deploy 500 Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) Semi trucks across North America through its Saga AI fleet intelligence platform.
The company said the rollout will triple its deployed electric truck fleet and described it as the largest Tesla Semi deployment announced to date.
The phased deployment starts in September 2026 and runs for 24 months using third-party financing, serving Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) and other customers across five U.S. states.
Following the announcement, Einride's share price was up 0.33% at $6.16 in premarket trading.
Saga AI has managed more than 19 million electric miles and 42,000 optimization sessions, while Einride recently moved to expand its North American charging operations through its Flipturn acquisition.
Einride said the 500-truck deployment is intended to help convert approximately $800 million in potential long-term annual recurring revenue under joint business plans into active freight capacity.
