  • Eikon Therapeutics reported a 63.1% objective response rate and 89.2% disease control rate in updated Phase 2 TeLuRide-005 results involving previously untreated stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer.
  • The squamous lung cancer cohort achieved a 72% response rate and 100% disease control, while Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events occurred in 48.6% of participants evaluated for safety.
  • Eikon is advancing EIK1001 through the Phase 2/3 TeLuRide-008 trial and expects a dose-selection interim analysis in the second half of 2027.

Eikon Therapeutics (NASDAQ:EIKN) presented updated Phase 2 TeLuRide-005 results showing a 63.1% objective response rate with EIK1001 combined with pembrolizumab and chemotherapy in previously untreated patients with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer.

The open-label study enrolled 72 patients, with 65 evaluable for efficacy demonstrating an 89.2% disease control rate after a median follow-up of 17.2 months.

Among patients with squamous non-small cell lung cancer, the combination achieved a 72% objective response rate and 100% disease control rate, with a median response duration of 12.9 months.

Patients in the non-squamous cohort demonstrated a 55.6% objective response rate and 80.6% disease control rate, indicating activity across both major lung cancer histologies.

Eikon expects a dose-selection interim analysis in the second half of 2027 for TeLuRide-008, its ongoing Phase 2/3 trial evaluating EIK1001 alongside pembrolizumab and chemotherapy.

Among 72 safety-evaluable participants, Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events occurred in 48.6%, while treatment-related events caused discontinuation in 6.9% and no treatment-related deaths were reported.

EIK1001 is an investigational Toll-like receptor 7 and 8 dual agonist designed to stimulate immune responses against cancer, while TeLuRide-005's single-arm design means its results cannot independently establish superiority over standard treatment.
