ECARX appoints Lone Fønss Schrøder as board chair to drive global expansion
ECARX Holdings (NASDAQ:ECX), a global mobility tech provider, announced today the appointment of Lone Fønss Schrøder as Chairperson of the Board, effective April 16, 2026.
This leadership transition involves splitting the roles of Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer, a move designed to align the company with international best practices for corporate governance.
Ziyu Shen, who previously held both titles, will continue to lead the company’s vision and operations as CEO and a member of the board.
Ms. Schrøder joins ECARX at a pivotal moment as the company transitions from a regional technology provider to a global powerhouse in the software-defined vehicle (SDV) space.
She brings decades of high-level experience across the automotive, technology, and finance sectors, having previously held significant leadership and board positions at major multinational firms.
Her background is expected to provide seasoned oversight as ECARX navigates the complexities of international capital markets and expanding regulatory environments.
