Eaton (NYSE:ETN) announced its second-quarter 2026 financial results, reporting record sales of $8.5 billion, representing a 21% increase from the same period last year.

The power management company recorded a GAAP earnings per share of $2.11, while its adjusted earnings per share reached a record $3.15.

The organization generated $1.1 billion in operating cash flow and $874 million in free cash flow, representing increases of 23% and 22%, respectively, over the prior year.

The company also announced a definitive agreement to separate its Mobility business and combine it with Dana Incorporated in a Reverse Morris Trust transaction.

Following the announcement, Eaton's share price was up at $386.89.

Management raised its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting an organic growth rate of 11% to 13% and an adjusted earnings per share between $13.40 and $13.60.

The corporation expects the Mobility separation to close in the first quarter of 2027, anticipating it will immediately improve organic growth and operating margins.
