AgEagle Aerial Systems (NYSE:UAVS), operating as EagleNXT, announced on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, a $10 million strategic investment in Israel-based ThirdEye Systems.

The deal includes the formation of a majority-owned joint venture, ThirdEye USA, which will localize the production of advanced counter-drone technologies at EagleNXT’s global headquarters in Allen, Texas.

Under the terms of the agreement, EagleNXT will hold a 51% controlling interest in the new entity, with ThirdEye Systems retaining 49%.

EagleNXT is further empowered to appoint three of the five managers of the joint venture, ensuring a dominant U.S. operational hand.

The partnership is designed to meet stringent domestic acquisition and export requirements by establishing a "Made in the USA" supply chain for sophisticated counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS).

The collaboration integrates ThirdEye Systems’ proprietary AI-driven electro-optical algorithms—found in products like the Argus Shield and vEYE—with EagleNXT’s established U.S. manufacturing, testing, and support infrastructure.

These systems provide real-time, passive detection and target acquisition capabilities that are increasingly critical for defense and public safety sectors as drone threats proliferate globally.

The $10 million investment represents a significant move for EagleNXT, which has been aggressively expanding its footprint in the defense sector through strategic acquisitions and partnerships, including its recent investment in loitering munition developer Aerodrome Group.

The company expects ThirdEye USA to be fully operational by May 2026, targeting contracts within the U.S. and Canadian markets.
