
Dow second quarter sales skyrockets 20% to $12.1 billion

- The company raised its expected 2026 self-help benefits by about $200 million to more than $1.3 billion.
Dow (NYSE:DOW) reported second-quarter net sales of $12.1 billion, up 20%, as higher local prices supported a return to profitability.
Sales increased from $10.1 billion, while GAAP net income reached $802 million compared with an $801 million loss one year earlier.
Operating EPS improved to $1.44, excluding $0.45 of significant items mainly related to the company’s Transform to Outperform program.
Following the announcement, Dow's share price was up 2% at $31.88 in premarket trading.
Packaging & Specialty Plastics sales rose 27% to $6.39 billion, while segment operating EBIT increased to $1.28 billion.
Dow also generated $1.32 billion in operating cash flow, paid $253 million in dividends and now targets more than $1.3 billion of 2026 self-help benefits.
