The results compared with the prior-year period as Deere recorded higher quarterly earnings, although first-nine-month net income declined 4% to $3.808 billion amid varied demand across its equipment businesses.
Deere reported equipment net sales of $10.999 billion during the quarter, while diluted earnings per share increased to $5.10 from $4.75 and first-nine-month revenue reached $35.589 billion.
The company said fiscal 2026 net income is expected to range between $4.75 billion and $5 billion, with Small Agriculture & Turf and Construction & Forestry showing stronger trends while Production & Precision Agriculture faced softer conditions.
Deere manufactures agricultural, construction and forestry equipment, with performance affected by equipment demand, farming conditions, construction activity and broader economic factors.
