  • DataMeds AI outlined plans for its Corexa Health subsidiary following an FDA proposal that could ease restrictions on compounding six peptides.
  • Corexa Distribution plans to use its network of more than 6,500 independent pharmacies, while Corexa Pharmacy reviews suppliers ahead of potential regulatory changes.
  • DataMeds expects initial peptide sales to be predominantly cash-pay, potentially reducing exposure to insurance reimbursement challenges.

DataMeds AI (NASDAQ:MEDS) outlined plans on October 16, 2026, for its three Corexa Health divisions following an FDA proposal that could ease compounding restrictions on six peptides.

The proposed interim policy follows recommendations from the FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee and remains under review, meaning the proposed changes are not yet effective.

"We were very pleased to see FDA begin to act on PCAC's recommendations so quickly," said DataMeds AI Interim Co-CEO Gerald Commissiong.

Corexa Pharmacy has started reviewing drug-substance suppliers and expects to negotiate contracts in the coming weeks, while Corexa Distribution plans to work with manufacturers and more than 6,500 independent pharmacies.

DataMeds expects cash-pay prescriptions to limit certain insurance reimbursement challenges and plans to expand distribution if regulations permit, while its share-price reaction to the announcement remains unverified.

Corexa Distribution holds licenses across all 50 U.S. states and operates a 40,000-square-foot warehouse in Lakeland, Florida, supporting wholesale distribution and third-party logistics services.

Corexa's Tech & Hub division routes prescriptions to Corexa Pharmacy or patients' preferred local pharmacies, complementing DataMeds' Health Lives Here application and its existing telehealth services.
