The company experienced a substantial increase in profitability, recording a net income of $387.3 million compared to $12.7 million during the same period last year.
Diluted earnings per share reached $2.41 on a GAAP basis, representing a significant improvement from the $0.08 per share reported in the second quarter of 2025.
The business generated a combined adjusted EBITDA of $741.7 million and received $280 million in cash distributions directly from Diamond Green Diesel.
Following the announcement, Darling Ingredients's share price was down at $58.62.
To strengthen its financial position, the company successfully reduced its net debt by $223 million during the three-month period.
The manufacturer also continued to return capital to investors by executing a repurchase of $73.0 million in common stock.
