CRH (NYSE:CRH) announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire NCC Industry’s operations in Denmark and Finland from NCC AB.
The acquired business lines develop, produce, and sell stone materials and asphalt products heavily utilized in regional construction and infrastructure initiatives.
In Denmark, the buyout incorporates a national network of asphalt plants alongside land- and marine-based aggregates sites featuring high-quality reserves.
In Finland, the transaction integrates reserve-backed hard-rock quarries, backfilling, and recycling operations to complement existing local businesses.
Peter Buckley, President of CRH International, emphasized that the purchase aligns with the firm's overarching strategy to scale an aggregates-led portfolio aligned with structural infrastructure trends.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, with corporate completion expected sometime in 2027.
Both companies will continue to operate independently until the transaction officially closes.
