Revenue declined 2.2% year over year, while comparable restaurant sales decreased 2.1% and comparable retail sales increased 0.7%.
The company reported GAAP earnings per share of $0.54 and adjusted earnings per share of $0.99, compared with $0.30 and $0.74 respectively in the prior-year quarter.
Cracker Barrel’s full-year fiscal 2026 revenue declined 5% to $3.32 billion, while the company reduced total debt to $337.2 million after completing a $77 million sale-leaseback transaction involving 26 stores.
The company said it ended fiscal 2026 with leverage of 1.7x and $541.3 million of available credit capacity, while providing fiscal 2027 guidance of $3.325 billion to $3.4 billion in revenue and $180 million to $200 million in adjusted EBITDA.
