
Corning Q2 sales rallies 17% to $4.51 billion

Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) reported second-quarter 2026 GAAP sales of $4.51 billion, up 17% year over year, while core sales also increased 17% to $4.74 billion.
GAAP diluted earnings rose 19% to $0.64 per share, while core earnings advanced 30% to $0.78 per share.
Corning said its quarterly performance reflected stronger sales growth, improved profitability and continued margin expansion across the business.
GAAP gross margin was 36.1%, while core gross margin expanded 120 basis points to 39.6%, and core operating margin increased 190 basis points to 20.9%.
GAAP operating cash flow reached $1.72 billion and adjusted free cash flow was $1.42 billion.
Corning develops glass, ceramics and optical technologies used across telecommunications, mobile devices, displays, automotive systems and life sciences markets.
The company expects third-quarter core sales to grow approximately 16% to between $4.9 billion and $5 billion, while core earnings are projected to rise about 28% to between $0.85 and $0.89 per share.
