CoreWeave (NASDAQ:CRWV) has expanded its global AI infrastructure by bringing most of its planned 22.5 megawatts of IT capacity online in Denmark and extending its network into the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
The Copenhagen deployment marks CoreWeave’s first in Denmark and expands its European footprint to nine data centers across five geographic markets, while the network extension will connect additional locations across Asia and the Middle East.
“We’re expanding our global infrastructure and the network connecting it together, so customers can focus on building and improving AI rather than managing the complexity underneath it,” said CoreWeave Chief Operating Officer Sachin Jain.
The planned network expansion includes points of presence in the United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, South Korea and Japan, beginning in late 2026 and extending to a full network loop by mid-2027.
CoreWeave said its network will use multiple 400-gigabit-per-second connections at each point of presence, hardware-based MACsec encryption and redundant network paths to support data transfer and connectivity across regions.
The expansion builds on CoreWeave’s earlier investments in India and Indonesia; as of June 30, 2026, the company operated 51 data centers worldwide with more than 1.5 gigawatts of active power, and it reported approximately 4.2 gigawatts of contracted power during its August 11 earnings call.
At the Copenhagen facility, CoreWeave is using NVIDIA Blackwell systems and Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, while its data center partner has a heat-reuse agreement to supply surplus heat to the local district heating network.
