Community Trust Bancorp (NASDAQ:CTBI) reported record Q2 2026 net income of $29.6 million and basic earnings of $1.64 per share.
Earnings increased from $27.2 million in Q1 and $24.9 million a year earlier, while the $1.64 result beat the $1.52 analyst estimate.
Total revenue reached approximately $78.5 million as net interest income rose 12.7% year over year to $60.9 million.
Noninterest income reached $17.6 million, while the efficiency ratio improved to 47.99% and net charge-offs declined to $0.9 million.
Following the announcement, Community Trust Bancorp's share price was unchanged at $72.25 in premarket trading.
First-half earnings totaled $56.8 million, or $3.15 per basic share, compared with $46.9 million and $2.60 one year earlier.
Community Trust ended June with $7.0 billion in assets, $5.1 billion in loans and nearly $6.0 billion in deposits and repurchase agreements.
