Colliers completes acquisition of Spain’s Ayesa Engineering to expand global footprint

Colliers (NASDAQ:CIGI) has officially closed its acquisition of Ayesa Engineering, the engineering division of the Seville-based Ayesa Group, marking a significant expansion of the global real estate and investment management firm's technical capabilities.

The transaction bolsters Colliers’ existing engineering and project management platform by adding more than 3,300 multidisciplinary professionals to its ranks.

With the integration of Ayesa Engineering, Colliers Engineering now operates across 23 countries with a combined workforce of over 11,000 professionals.

The strategic move is designed to deepen the company's reach and operational capacity across several high-growth sectors, specifically within the property, infrastructure, water, and environmental markets.

The acquisition provides Colliers with a broader suite of services to navigate the increasingly complex demands of global infrastructure and sustainable development projects.

In alignment with Colliers’ established partnership model, the senior leadership team at Ayesa will retain a significant equity stake in the business going forward.

This structure is intended to maintain operational continuity and incentivize long-term growth as the Spanish engineering firm integrates into the broader Colliers network.
