Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ:CTSH) is expanding its strategic partnership with Alphabet's Google Cloud to deploy "agentic" artificial intelligence across its global enterprise, marking a shift from experimental pilot programs to full-scale operational use.
The Teaneck, New Jersey-based company announced Monday that it is integrating Google Workspace with Gemini Enterprise for its internal teams.
The move aims to automate complex workflows and accelerate the speed of software delivery.
Beyond its own walls, Cognizant is launching a new productivity suite for clients that merges both platforms to eliminate manual bottlenecks in corporate processes.
As part of the initiative, Cognizant is establishing a dedicated Gemini Enterprise Center of Excellence.
The center will utilize the company’s "Agent Development Lifecycle" and its proprietary Agent Foundry—a no-code platform—to help businesses build and manage autonomous AI agents.
These digital assistants are designed to handle multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention, a step beyond the simple chatbots that defined the previous wave of generative AI.
The partnership also includes the launch of Google Experience Zones and Gen AI Studios, where Cognizant will showcase these capabilities to prospective customers.
