Profit increased from $31.7 million and $2.20 per share in Q1, while year-earlier profit was $33.4 million.

Net interest income rose 1.9% sequentially to $60.8 million, while the net interest margin remained at 3.97%.

Loans increased $10.2 million to $4.50 billion, while nonperforming assets declined from $12.2 million to $10.6 million.
