Ciena (NYSE:CIEN) reported fiscal third quarter 2026 revenue of $1.67 billion, up 37% year over year, with adjusted earnings per share increasing as the company raised its full-year revenue outlook.
The quarterly revenue increase compared with $1.22 billion in the same period last year, while adjusted EPS increased from $0.67 to $2.11 and GAAP diluted EPS rose from $0.35 to $1.83.
The company provided fourth quarter fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of $1.75 billion plus or minus $50 million and raised full-year fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to $6.42 billion plus or minus $50 million, with the midpoint representing 35% year-over-year growth.
Ciena Chief Financial Officer Marc Graff said the company’s results reflected its ability to deliver higher profitability while increasing supply capacity and operating leverage.
Ciena provides optical networking systems and interconnect solutions used in communications infrastructure, with demand influenced by network investment, data traffic growth, and emerging artificial intelligence infrastructure requirements.
