Champion Homes expands Western footprint with Homes Direct acquisition

Share

Champion Homes (NYSE:SKY) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the retail assets of Homes Direct, securing 11 high-volume sales locations to accelerate its direct-to-consumer distribution strategy across the Western U.S.

The Troy, Michigan-based manufactured housing producer announced Tuesday that the transaction encompasses the majority of Homes Direct’s operating footprint.

The acquired locations span key regional housing markets, including Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon.

Financial terms of the asset purchase agreement were not disclosed.

The transaction is structured to align with Champion’s existing manufacturing facilities in the Western region, creating a vertically integrated supply chain aimed at capturing a larger share of the affordable housing market.

The deal is expected to close during Champion’s second quarter of fiscal year 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.
