
CGI post Q1 revenue of $4.08B, up 7.7% year-over-year

Montreal-based CGI (NYSE:GIB) today reported solid financial results for its first quarter of fiscal 2026 ended December 31, 2025.
Revenue totaled $4.08 billion, rising 7.7% year-over-year and 3.4% in constant currency.
Adjusted EBIT reached $655.1 million, representing a 16.1% margin.
Cash from operations hit a record $871.9 million, equating to 21.4% of revenue.
Bookings for the quarter were $4.47 billion, maintaining a strong backlog of $31.32 billion, equivalent to 1.9 times annual revenue.
During the quarter, net earnings were $442 million, with diluted earnings per share of $2.03.
The company also repurchased $576.6 million of shares during the quarter and declared a quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share.
