Ceva lands AI silicon licensing deal for NeuPro-M

Ceva (NASDAQ:CEVA) announced a landmark licensing agreement with a major U.S. software and AI platform company to support a custom AI silicon program aimed at next-generation intelligent computing devices.

The customer selected Ceva’s NeuPro-M neural processing unit (NPU) intellectual property as the core architecture for the project.

Ceva said the design will support tighter integration between operating systems and silicon to improve on-device AI performance and efficiency.

The company said the collaboration enables scalable AI acceleration across future computing devices.

NeuPro-M is part of Ceva’s AI processor portfolio designed for edge computing workloads such as vision, generative AI, and embedded intelligence.

The company said the deal reflects growing demand for AI-specific semiconductor architectures across consumer and enterprise devices.
