Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT) announced an agreement to acquire John Fabick Tractor Company, an independent Cat dealer serving customers across parts of the Midwest United States.

Fabick’s territory includes all of Wisconsin, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and portions of Missouri and Illinois.

Caterpillar said the acquisition is intended to support continuity of customer service and maintain local support capabilities following the ownership transition.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions.

Caterpillar expects the acquisition to close within 30 days.

John Fabick Tractor Company has operated as a Cat dealer, providing Caterpillar equipment, parts, service, and support solutions to customers in its assigned territory.
