How Binance Keeps Doing European Business Without License

Bloomberg's Ben Weiss joins Scarlet Fu and Tim Stenovec on "Bloomberg Crypto." Despite failing to get a license in Europe, it's business as usual for Binance in Europe. The firm is still operating in the region due to a number of workarounds and side doors under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulatory framework, better known as MiCA.

SpaceX Shares to Get a Boost If Nasdaq 100 Increases Weighting

Bloomberg's Carmen Reinicke said that thousands of SpaceX shares are set to come back into the market as the Nasdaq 100 index goes through rebalancing and the space company sees more stock lockup expirations. Reinicke called the potential for stock movement 'really substantial' and said that SpaceX's weight in the Nasdaq 100 will only continue to rise until all available shares are bought.

Apple to Unveil First Foldable Phone

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said that the foldable phone expected to be announced by Apple this week has been 'a long time coming' for the company after Tim Cook took inspiration from similar phones he saw on a 2020 trip to Asia. Gurman said that the stakes for Apple's new product releases are high because every issue a new product has could be detrimental to the brand and its reputation.

Mike Belshe, co-founder & CEO of BitGo, joins Scarlet Fu and Tim Stenovec on "Bloomberg Crypto."  A company tied to World Liberty Financial, the Trump family's crypto venture, received preliminary conditional approval for a national trust bank charter from a federal regulator. It would no longer need its current issuer BitGo Bank & Trust.

Kyiv Allies See War Going Into 2027 After Envoy Meetings

Melinda Haring, nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, said the war in Ukraine shows no signs of slowing and could drag on for another three to four years. Haring said that Putin is hoping to run out the clock on Ukraine by getting into complicated negotiations and undermining the idea of any Ukrainian sovereignty.
