SpaceX Said to File Confidentially for IPO Before AI Rivals

SpaceX has filed confidentially for an initial public offering, according to people familiar with the matter, bringing billionaire Elon Musk's rocket, satellite and AI company closer to delivering the biggest-ever listing. The company submitted its draft IPO registration to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information isn't public. A representative for SpaceX didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. SpaceX could seek a valuation in the IPO of more than $1.75T, people familiar with the matter have said. The company acquired Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI in a deal that valued the enlarged entity at $1.25T. Nike Plummets to Lowest in Decade as Turnaround Sputters

Nike Inc. shares tumbled after the retailer gave a surprisingly gloomy outlook for the year ahead, complicating Chief Executive Officer Elliott Hill's efforts to turn around the business. Revenue is expected to decline 2% to 4% in the current quarter and will be down in the low single-digits for the rest of the calendar year, management told investors on an earnings call Tuesday evening. NASA Set to Launch Crew to Moon for First Time in 50 Years

NASA astronauts are poised to lift off Wednesday on a 10-day journey that will slingshot them around the moon, marking humanity's return to the lunar vicinity for the first time in more than half a century. The crew's Lockheed Martin Corp.-built Orion capsule, perched atop the Boeing Co.-made Space Launch System rocket, is set to launch at 6:24 p.m. local time from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.  Bloomberg's Ed Ludlow spoke with Congressman Mike Haridopolos, Republican representing Florida's 8th District ahead of the launch at the Kennedy Space Center.
