GOP Debates Scope of Next Partisan Spending Package

The coming days will determine just how narrow a sweeping spending package President Donald Trump will get from Congress next month. Republican leadership on Capitol Hill is hoping to pass swiftly another partisan tax-and-spending bill through the budget reconciliation process that would fund ICE and Border Patrol. Base funding for those agencies expired in February as Democrats balked at funding immigration enforcement without restrictions on those agents. Treasuries Fall as Inflation Data Erode Fed Rate-Cut Wager

Treasuries fell as quickening inflation stemming from the US war on Iran and the prospect of escalation eroded wagers that the Federal Reserve will lower interest rates once this year.
