US Looks to Expand Nuclear Power as AI Drives Up Energy Demand

Ho K. Nieh, chair of the US Nuclear Regulatory Committee, said that the NRC has taken 'major steps' to reform its framework for licensing nuclear plants and how it conducts regulatory checks as the Trump administration looks to increase the amount of nuclear energy projects in the United States.
