Camden National Corporation (NASDAQ:CAC) reported record second-quarter 2026 net income of $23 million, or $1.35 per diluted share, with return on average assets of 1.33% and return on average equity of 12.92%.
For the first six months of 2026, net income increased to $44.9 million from $21.4 million a year earlier, while diluted earnings per share rose to $2.64 from $1.26.
Camden National said the Northway Financial acquisition and continued core business growth supported the strong quarterly and first-half performance.
Total revenue increased 5% from the previous quarter as net interest margin expanded to 3.26% and non-interest income rose 21% to $14.5 million.
Loans increased 1% to $5 billion and the committed loan pipeline rose 45% to $185.7 million.
Camden National provides commercial and consumer banking, wealth management and financial services through its operations in northern New England.
The company maintained strong credit and capital metrics, repurchased 52,000 shares at an average price of $47.64 and declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per share.
